Long-suffering Servant, You patiently endured for our sakes, and You patiently love us every day! Yet, our fast-paced way of life can push us to lose sight of this while demanding instant results. We can become frustrated with circumstances, short with others, and disappointed with You. Protect us from this tendency—especially concerning Adams Mill. May Your patience flourish within us so that we are quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. In relational conflict, help us to bear with one another. When facing hardship or resistance from the enemy, empower us to press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call. Thank You for renewing our strength as we wait on You.
