Lord God, thank You that Your Spirit lives within us by grace through faith in Christ! Teach us to depend on the Holy Spirit as we attempt to listen for and be sensitive to His guidance in our lives. We ask that the kind of dependence on the Spirit that Jesus modeled would be reflected in Your people at FG: Adams Mill—both corporately and individually. As they lean heavily on Your Spirit, enable them to pray faithfully, use their spiritual gifts, demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit, help other Christians in their struggle with sin, listen for what You may be speaking to their hearts, and sing with other believers.
