Holy Father, we acknowledge that we must make adjustments in our lives to join You in what You are doing. Sometimes these adjustments are costly. They may involve sacrificing our own plans and desires. We may be called to make changes in our circumstances, relationships, attitudes, commitments, behaviors, and beliefs. Still, we remember that Christ called us to take up our cross daily and follow Him. Jesus, may Your absolute surrender to the Father be forged within us as we deny ourselves and say “Yes” to You. We know that whatever we give up will pale in comparison to what we will gain. As we keep this motivation in mind, enable us to wholeheartedly accept, adjust to, and carry out whatever assignments You give us.
