Gentle Teacher, help us to take on Your yoke and learn from You. As we spend time with You in the Scriptures and embrace the Spirit’s work in our lives, please develop humble, gentle hearts within us. Enable us to turn from prideful, harsh ways and words. May Your gentleness season our conversations—especially the hard ones. When disagreements happen, may our answers deflect anger. When someone is caught in sin, work through us to restore that person in a spirit of gentleness. When we are asked to give the reason for the hope that we have, help us to do this gently and respectfully. May our gentleness be known to all.\
