I grew up in a Christian home. I trusted Christ when I was about five years old, but constantly doubted my salvation through my teenage and young adult years. The Lord used some trials and anxiety I was experiencing in my 20’s and moving across the country, to fully commit my life to honor and glorify the One who set me free.
Through others who showed me blindspots, spoke honest truth into my life, and digging deep into this amazing grace God gives us, I have learned what it means to really “be free in Christ.” I now find so much joy in being involved, and I love serving alongside other believers and hearing their stories. There are many new and wonderful people and friendships in my life, which excites and encourages me.
This has significantly impacted my walk with Christ to keep pressing forward towards the prize, just by plugging myself in to serve in community. God is currently teaching me that even through hurt, or situations I cannot control, he uses everything for his good. Trials are hard, but so spiritually rewarding when you choose to see his hand in it all. God is so good, all the time!
