I've been a part of Fellowship Greenville since I was two years old. I initially was baptized as a child before I knew what it truly meant to have a relationship with Jesus. I believed in God, I went to church, but I couldn't fully comprehend the importance of being born again. As the years went by, life got hard, and I encountered trials, including the death of my godmother, who meant so very much to me. This led me down a bad path in high school and throughout college, where I found myself angry, lost, and the furthest from God that I had ever been. It wasn't until I left the very unhealthy relationship I was in at the time and began dating my husband when I finally found my way back to God and the faith I knew as a child. I have always considered Jeremiah 29:11 my life verse: "For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the LORD, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I am finally giving in to the plans God has for my life and surrendering it all to Him.
