As with everyone else, the past year has brought every emotion to our family... worry, confusion, fear, peace, joy, love. It was a big year with big emotions and feelings. But through it all, the foundation we have built on God’s faithfulness has held us strong and secure.  

Lately, my focus has been on learning to trust God in new ways. It has been a time of truly opening my hands and letting Him take control of my heart and my reaction to what is happening in our world, both in our community and in our country. Having the security of knowing God’s plan extends so much farther than I can ever see or comprehend is bringing peace to me daily. All of this has been reinforced by the teaching on Sunday mornings by our teaching pastors.

'For now, we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.' (1 Corinthians 13:12) - Amber L.
