"I was an unhappy child growing up. In most pictures I am not smiling before Jesus came into my life. When I was in elementary school a neighbor, Lisa, my same age, invited me to church. That night I received Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior. I told God I wanted to be able to make people feel loved. I feel like the Lord gave me a heart for people and that makes me smile and in turn my love for them makes them smile.
When I went through a divorce a few years ago, I remember crying and asking the Lord how I was going to make it and within a few seconds the song, “Because He Lives” began playing on the radio. Shortly after, the Lord led me to the Greenville area. I began attending Divorce Care at Fellowship Greenville. It was there I met Herb and Beth Harris and many others who the Lord blessed me with to help me through the transition. I am amazed and grateful how the Lord continues to bless me!! God is good all the time. All the time, God is good!" - Trina C.
Matthew 5:14-16 KJV
[14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. [15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. [16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
